The Therapy Place

To provide traditional and innovative therapies and recreational opportunities for children with special needs in an environment that is family-friendly, to include resources and education for the parents/caregivers.

The Therapy Place has provided over 100,000 pediatric therapy visits, including PT, OT, and speech therapy services, to more than 1,000 children. We serve children with diagnoses such as autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and other diagnoses causing developmental delays, with our goal being to help them achieve their full potential and live as independently as possible. Families travel from 8 Midlands counties each week to access our unique services. The Therapy Place is home to the Bridges Preschool and Academy, a collaborative educational model that integrates special education teachers and therapists to maximize intervention time. This one-of-a-kind program in the Midlands prepares children for success by fostering greater independence. We are the only clinic in SC offering the TheraSuit Method, an intensive therapy program designed to accelerate progress. In addition, the 180 families we serve each week are supported through parent & sibling support groups, respite events, family field trips, and monthly educational workshops.
