Awarded to one large budget organization with the most unique donors during Black Philanthropy Month (August 1 - August 31).

Nonprofit Size Categories

Size categories are determined by the operating budget submitted by the organization during registration. The breakdown is calculated to ensure there is a fair number of nonprofits in each size category. The 2025 size categories are:

  • Small: $50,000 or less
  • Medium: $50,001 to $450,000
  • Large: $450,001 or more

Prize Guidelines

  • Prizes are awarded to the nonprofit, not the donor.
  • Prize money does not count toward matches.
  • Organizations must receive at least 5 gifts between August 1 - August 31 before they are eligible to win a prize.
  • Organizations may not win more than one prize.
  • Some DAF donations and manual entry donations will  not qualify for prizes. 
  • If a prize is unable to be awarded based on the prize criteria and eligibility requirements, CCCF reserves the right to expand the criteria and eligibility to award the prize.
