This organization was birthed out of a place of trauma and despair. > The CEO/Founder experienced two events that no mother anticipates happening. > Her oldest son, Isaac, was an Iraqi veteran and survived the war to come back home and be murdered in Columbia, SC on November 20, 2006. > Nine years, three months and 11 days later, this mother's youngest son, Carlton, open his apartment door in Orlando, Florida to someone who shot him. > The unimaginable had happened!> Lightning did strike in the same place twice!> After a period of time, she decided to turn pain into purpose and began this organization to help reclaim our youth from these obstacles in life by mentoring. > We go into the schools and teach strategies to give our youth visions of victory possible in their life. >This organization also has another component, a monthly virtual support group entitled "Healing Hearts Support." This group gives mothers a place to not only vent but to receive messages of hope, restoration and recompense. This support group often sponsor self care individuals who log on to give mothers alternative ways to deal with the trauma life has given to them along with self help strategies.
