Calhoun Players Inc

The purpose of Calhoun Players Inc is to enhance the quality of life in Calhoun County by providing quality performing arts experiences for the residents of Calhoun County, South Carolina and its surrounding areas. The Calhoun Players provides for the training of actors, directors, and others involved in theater productions and creates opportunities to demonstrate and improve their skills by participating in productions.

Our efforts enrich theatrical awareness, both locally and throughout the Midlands.

In 2022, three graduating seniors who had been involved in Calhoun Players productions for most of their childhood each received $500 scholarships.
In 2024, three graduating seniors who had been involved in Calhoun Players productions for several years each received $500 scholarships.

In 2025 $1000 dollars in scholarships  was given to two graduating seniors.

Currently, the theater is in the process of upgrading its lighting, including spotlights, stage lights, and controllers. This will greatly enhance our future productions.
Upgrading curtains is on the agenda.
