I support Girl Get Up Society because I know what it feels like to smile on the outside while silently struggling on the inside. Mental health should never be a luxury—it’s a necessity. This organization creates safe spaces for healing, gives women and girls the tools to rebuild their lives, and reminds them they’re not alone. That kind of transformation doesn’t happen by accident. At Girl, Get Up Society, we help girls and women in South Carolina connect their mental health to a greater state of hope, healing, and happiness in their lives by ensuring they have access to mental healthcare and the support services they need. While we champion the wellbeing of all girls and women, we primarily address the needs of black girls and women.
