I’m choosing to fundraise for Able SC—not because I work here, but because I deeply believe in what we do. Over the past 13 years, I’ve had the honor of witnessing lives transform. I’ve seen people learn skills that empower them to engage fully in their communities. I’ve watched advocacy efforts lead to real, lasting change. And I’ve seen individuals who once felt hopeless discover a renewed sense of purpose and belonging. Adapting to life with a disability isn’t easy. But having a supportive community—a team that understands, uplifts, and advocates—can make all the difference. That’s what Able SC offers every single day.

We are an organization of people with disabilities leading the charge to: Equip people with disabilities with tools to foster pride and to direct their own lives; Educate the community to challenge stereotypes and eliminate barriers; and Advocate for access, equity, and inclusion at the individual, local, state, and national level.
