United Way of the Midlands holds a special place in the community and my heart. I had the privilege of working at Uway as an intern in college and learning firsthand what a tremendous impact their initiatives have on our community. Now, I have the privilege of serving on a board committee and continuing to watch their initiatives grow and evolve. From Homeless No More, to the Midlands Reading Consortium, to the Three Generation Approach, to so many more... United Way of the Midlands improves the quality of live in the Midlands and unites us all.

The mission of the United Way of the Midlands is simple: We unite people and resources to improve the quality of life in the Midlands. Our goal is to create generational change in our community by expanding opportunities for self-sufficiency while meeting immediate needs. The Midlands Reading Consortium (MRC) is our education initiative committed to fostering a love of learning in both literacy and STEM.
