Every day at SC Thrive, I get to do work that matters—connecting people to life-changing resources like healthcare, food assistance, and financial stability programs. I believe no one should have to navigate life’s toughest moments alone. That’s why I’m here: to help our communities not just survive, but thrive. Midlands Gives falls near or on the anniversary of my dad's passing every year. It makes me think about what he taught me about serving others, giving back, and giving more than I receive. This May 6th marks 6 years without my favorite laugh in the world, without the person I check with to see if bands are cool, the person who taught me math and spreadsheets are awesome, and the person who always acted like the person I am is the coolest person he ever knew. He helped me believe I could do and be anything I wanted. This year, I'm asking for help honoring dad's memory by supporting the work he taught me to do to help others.
