As a Board Member for Communities In Schools of South Carolina (CISSC) and a proud member of the Lexington Medical Center team, I know that a student's success isn't just about academics-it's about overall well-being. When a child is hungry, stressed, or struggling with mental health, learning becomes even harder.

That's why CISSC is so important. They work directly with students to provide critical non-academic support, from food assistance to mental health resources, ensuring that every child has the foundation they need to succeed in school and beyond.
