Able SC equips people with disabilities with the tools they need to foster pride, independence, and self-direction—while also working to eliminate barriers and challenge harmful stereotypes in our communities. This mission isn’t just important to me professionally—it’s deeply personal. Before I became a staff member, I was a consumer. The support, resources, and encouragement I received from Able SC during a time when I was struggling to get back on my feet helped me reclaim my independence and begin building the life I have today.
