As a new board member, I can already see the incredible value that Communities In Schools of South Carolina (CISSC) adds to our community. Creating opportunities for students to develop the life skills they need for success after graduation is crucial. Whether it's raising their hand in class for the first time or finding the confidence to ask for help, CISSC's site coordinators are there to support them every step of the way.

From checking report cards to addressing challenges in real time, the impact of their work is felt immediately, helping students stay on track and build a strong foundation for their future.

This Midlands Gives Day (May 6th), I'm setting a goal to raise $500 to support the ongoing efforts of CISSC in our schools.
