I have witnessed first hand how much of an impact this organization has on individuals. Had I known about it years ago, I would have been a client during all three of my pregnancies for the education alone. As a previous intern and a staff member of this organization, I have truly learned so much as not only a mother but also as a person, and as a Christian. I’m so thankful to be a part of helping so many women and families who are in need during a very important time in their lives. The Advocacy Center of Sumter is a full resource pregnancy and parenting center. We help women before during and after pregnancy. We offer women, moms, parents, and caregivers free classes and material assistance. Our aim is to instill hope as we light the way to transformation through Christ. We have a broad spectrum of programs and services that have helped empower women and families since 2008.
