In times like these, it is so important for us to back organizations that are fighting the good fight for marginalized people. Able South Carolina is one of those organizations. My coworkers and I work tirelessly on a daily basis to support and lift up our community -- the disability community. We are an organization of people with disabilities leading the charge to: 1. Equip people with disabilities with tools to foster pride and to direct their own lives; 2. Educate the community to challenge stereotypes and eliminate barriers; and 3. Advocate for access, equity, and inclusion at the individual, local, state, and national level.
