Our sweet William was the bravest little boy, time and time again, he proved the doctors wrong. We watched him face more battles than most parents could ever imagine. Through all the hardships, our little superhero still had the biggest smile and cutest laugh. William faced many illnesses and survived open heart surgery at 6 months old. We spent most of his life in the hospital fighting pulmonary hypertension and a rare lung disease. Happy Wheels provideed a little bit of normalcy for us and the children and families inside the children's hospital. Seeing the smiling faces of the Happy Wheels volunteers is the highlight of many families' week. We will forever be thankful for that.
