I joined The Therapy Place staff after serving on the board for several years—drawn to a mission I wholeheartedly believe in: helping children with special needs reach their fullest potential. That belief is rooted in my own life as I grew up with a father who had physical limitations and bonus sisters with Fragile X syndrome. Throughout their lives, I've seen first-hand how life-changing the right education and innovative therapies can be. I believe all children can learn and thrive when they’re given the tools they need, and unfortunately tools for kiddos in the special needs community are often more expensive than those for neurotypical peers.
