I have had the privilege of being a Happy Wheels volunteer since 2012  and  to see what a positive difference it makes for a hospitalized child. Each Monday,  Happy Wheels rolls through the inpatient halls in Prisma Children's Hospital and gives a toy or book to each child to take home. On Tuesdays, we roll through the oncology/ hematology clinic and sedation recovery and do the same. All these brand new books and toys are donated with funding by our generous Midlands community. Happy Wheels is a bright spot and is many times the highlight of the day in what can be a scary and isolating time for a sick child. Just a $10 donation can put a smile on the face of a child with a book or a toy in their hand to take home. On this Midlands Gives Tuesday, won't you join me in helping  our carts to keep rolling with your generosity…in memory of Kennedy, Madison, Aurora and Everett?
