Fundraiser Story

A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away-well, technically China-we discovered Happy Wheels through Facebook during Midlands Gives. We loved the idea: bringing joy to kids in tough times.

In February 2023, our 10-year-old son Joshua was hospitalized with acute anemia and Happy Wheels rolled up outside his room for the first time. A month later at a follow-up appointment, we learned Joshua had Burkitt Lymphoma. He spent over 60 days in the hospital, followed by months of chemo. Thankfully, in September 2023, he rang the bell-cancer-free!

Through it all, Joshua looked forward to Mondays and the Happy Wheels cart. Picking a treat for the week was a highlight of each hospital stay.

We've been blessed to be supported by a local, national and global community. If we had $10 for every kind message, we could bless so many others. Please consider donating to Happy Wheels and share this with friends.

We hope you never need this incredible program, but if you do, you'll be glad it's there.
