Mental health is a deeply personal and important cause for me. I’ve seen how powerful it can be when women and girls have a safe space to heal, grow, and connect, and I’ve also seen the lasting impact when those resources aren’t available. Girl, Get Up Society is filling that gap in our community by providing mental health services, peer support, and resources for women and girls ages 13+. They are breaking stigmas, building confidence, and giving hope where it’s needed most.

At Girl, Get Up Society, we help girls and women in South Carolina connect their mental health to a greater state of hope, healing, and happiness in their lives by ensuring they have access to mental healthcare and the support services they need. While we champion the wellbeing of all girls and women, we primarily address the needs of black girls and women.
