From the moment I stood in the parking lot watching this year’s Youth Corps class arrive, I knew this program was something special. Before any icebreakers or activities began, alumni were already engaging the new students—welcoming them, pulling them in, making sure no one stood alone. And here’s the amazing part: no one person trained them to do that. The Youth Corps experience did. This program teaches more than leadership—it nurtures it. It gives young people the tools to break barriers, bring people together, and lead with confidence, empathy, and purpose. Its evident in every lesson, every moment, every interaction. It starts with Leadership Weekend and continues through the other 8 modules. It is all intentional—and it works! Creating young leaders who believe in themselves and their ability to affect change in the world around them. Join me in supporting Youth Corps and helping more young leaders shine.

Through community-led experiential learning and leadership development, Youth Corps aspires to create leaders out of 9th and 10th grade students who are encouraged to live a life of influence, be productive citizens, lifelong learners, and take responsibility for their lives and community.
