OCCOC strengthens Orangeburg County by fostering a culture where "Character Matters." Our initiatives empower youth, families, and communities to embrace ethical values and positive character traits, creating a lasting impact.

Our 5th-Grade Character Awards inspire thousands of students annually, reinforcing the importance of integrity and leadership. Recognizing the Character Trait of the Month in schools and the community builds a shared commitment to excellence. Honoring Citizens & Athletes of the Month motivates individuals to lead with character, while the Character Care Closet provides essential support to those in need, demonstrating kindness in action.

Young Leaders in the Making equips 4th and 5th-graders with leadership skills, preparing them to be future role models. The Champion of Character award spotlights businesses and leaders who set ethical excellence standards.

By promoting and recognizing character in everyday life, OCCOC shapes a community where values-driven leadership and service create a stronger, more united Orangeburg County.
