Weekend Warriors For Hunger

Hi, I am Teresa Mack, a proud Board member of OCCOC. We are fundraising to address food insecurity in Orangeburg County.  1 in 4 children face hunger every Friday until they return to school on Monday and can receive school meals. A child who goes to bed hungry is more likely to struggle in school, experience difficulty concentrating, and face long-term health challenges. “Weekend Warriors Against Hunger” is one of our character-educating efforts that helps feed kids every weekend. This is more than just providing meals, it's about providing care and support every child needs to become their best selves.
