Many Voices. One Movement. Support Doesn't Stop at 18.

This Black Philanthropy Month, Rose Leaf Foundation is joining a larger movement to highlight the voices, experiences, and community support that help young people thrive beyond foster care.

For young people aging out of foster care, turning 18 does not mean they suddenly have everything figured out. Foster care may end, but the need for support does not. Young adults are navigating housing, employment, education, transportation, relationships, financial stability, and emotional wellness while building their futures.

That's why Rose Leaf Foundation exists.

We support young adults who have aged out of foster care and children in kinship care across South Carolina through mentoring, independent living support, emergency assistance, career and employment readiness, emotional wellness support, and community connections.

Our work is made possible by many voices: young people sharing their experiences, mentors showing up, Board members giving their leadership, community partners creating connections, and donors investing in the future of youth.

Many Voices. One Movement.

On August 28, 2026, Rose Leaf Foundation will celebrate our Day of Giving as part of Black Philanthropy Month.

Your gift can help provide:

$10 — A meal for a young person
$25 — Personal care items
$50 — Transportation assistance to work
$100 — Counseling support
$500 — Emergency housing assistance

Every contribution helps us continue providing support when young people need it most.

Support doesn't stop at 18. Neither should we.

Give on August 28 and add your voice to the movement.
