I am a current board member of the African American Philanthropy Committee at Central Carolina Community Foundation.

I’m proud to support The Hive Community Circle and the life-changing work they do for survivors across South Carolina. 💛

Since 2015, The Hive has walked alongside survivors impacted by sexual assault, intimate partner violence, and stalking, providing culturally responsive, survivor-driven support that centers dignity, compassion, and real pathways toward healing.

Last year, The Hive faced an unexpected loss of public funding that threatened critical services. Thanks to an incredible community response, more than $559,000 was raised to ensure survivors could continue receiving essential resources without interruption. This support even helped launch The Hive’s Casita of Care, their community pantry serving those in need.

Now, The Hive is entering an exciting new chapter focused on growth, sustainability, and expanding impact. You and I have a crucial role to play as The Hive continues its journey in our community.
