AJ's Photography Loves Happy Wheels!

Happy Wheels holds a special place in my heart because of what it meant to my son during some of his hardest days. During a couple of his hospital stays, receiving a visit from the Happy Wheels cart brought him moments of joy and comfort when he needed it most. Seeing his face light up in the middle of such difficult times is something I’ll never forget. That simple act of kindness made a lasting impact on our family, and it’s why I will always support the mission behind Happy Wheels—bringing smiles and hope to children when they need it most.

One day, each week throughout the year, Happy Wheels volunteers make rounds to each inpatient room with a decorated surgical cart filled with brand new books and toys. Happy Wheels visits approximately 400 children weekly at all 3 children's hospitals in South Carolina. Each child gets to pick out one toy/book of their choice every week for the duration of their admission. They get to keep the gifts and take them home!
