As the Founder of Girl Get Up Society, I’ve had the honor of witnessing something that never gets old…

Transformation.

In conversations, in safe spaces, in moments where someone finally feels seen.

I remember a mom who came up to me at our annual walk.

She shared that she and her daughter were not speaking. Their relationship had completely broken down. There was distance, silence, and pain.

Her daughter found Girl Get Up Society on her own.

She started coming.

She started healing.

She started therapy.

And then something powerful happened…

She told her mom about us.

And she brought her to our event.

Standing there, that mom looked at me and said their relationship had started to improve.

That’s not just impact.

That’s generational healing.

I’ve also met moms who tell me their daughters struggle with severe social anxiety…

But when they come to our Girl Power events, something shifts.

They open up.

They connect.

They laugh.

They feel like they belong.

They’re not just attending an event.

They’re finding community.

And yes — they love the food, they love the environment, they feel heard.

Because we don’t just create programs.

We create experiences that meet them where they are.

But here’s the truth…

There are still so many girls and women who need this.

Who are waiting for access to therapy.

Who are navigating life alone.

That’s why I’ve set a personal goal to raise $5,000 for Midlands Gives.

Every dollar raised helps us:

• Provide therapy sessions

• Expand our Girl Power programs

• Create safe spaces where healing can happen
