United for Baby

Our mission is to provide free diapers, wipes, training pants, adult incontinence products, and other essential items to families in need while raising awareness of the basic health need for these items through collaborative community relationships that promote health, wellness, dignity, and independence.

Shameka is the founder and fire behind United for Baby, transforming diapers, dignity, and drive into real relief for families across rural South Carolina. Every grant she writes, pantry she stocks, and partnership she builds is fueled by one thing: the deep, unwavering need to serve babies and their mothers - and the fear of what they'll endure without access to basic supplies.

A classroom leader by day and community lifeline by heart, Shameka blends compassion with grit. From disaster relief to postpartum support, she's building a future where rural families aren't left behind - one care kit, one diaper pantry, one hug at a time.

United for Baby has serval programs that we are conducting, our diaper program which provides diapers and wipes at no-cost to families that have a need. Second, is our Newborn Care Program in which we provide newborn diaper bag bundles which include all the essential beginning care items and post-partum kits for new moms to take care of themselves.

Testimonials

United for Baby helps the rural babies of South Carolina especially the Kershaw Area. Since our creation we have provided about 16,000 diapers to our families. United for Baby feels that WE ARE STRONGER TOGETHER therefor we work with other community organizations to host events that will support their needs such as: Community Baby Showers, Drive Thru Distributions, Back to School Events, & Fresh Food distributions, in Kershaw, that support more than 700 families.
