Unbridled Wild Connections is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit where healing and hope run wild for both horses and humans. We provide trauma-informed equine-assisted learning for women and young girls, while also rehabilitating horses who deserve a chance at trust, connection, and purpose.

Our programs integrate domestic horses and rescued mustangs. Today, our gentle domestic and wild partners help us launch programming safely and successfully, while we rehabilitate and train wild mustangs through a trust-based approach. As mustangs progress, they step into meaningful roles as teachers.

We specialize in liberty-based horsemanship, a method where horses interact freely, without ropes or force, choosing connection over compliance. This approach mirrors the healing we aim to support: rebuilding self-trust, honoring boundaries, and cultivating confidence through presence and relational safety.

With small group sessions and individualized mentorship, participants develop emotional regulation, self-awareness, and the courage to lead from within. As we expand our facilities and adopt additional mustangs, we are increasing access to empowering, life-changing equine experiences in our community.
