I have been Catholic my whole life, but it wasn't until coming to St. Thomas More that I truly learned what that meant. After 7 years of Catholic school, I came into college fairly confident that I would get involved in the Church on campus, but I had no idea how integral it would become to my college experience. STM has become my second home, a place of guidance and refuge for me during my time at USC.

STM has given me not only my best friends, but also a deeper understanding of my purpose in life: to serve Jesus Christ and His people.

At STM, I have been blessed with many opportunities to give back to the community that has given me so much. Each week, I lead a group of girls in Bible study, where we grow in our faith and come to know the Lord more deeply together. Last year, I had the privilege of serving as STM’s Service Chair, and this year, I am honored to serve as the Women’s Outreach Chair on the Student Leadership Team.

St. Thomas More has so many incredible opportunities for students to become involved, from retreats to Sunday Supper to attending the SEEK Conference to the March for Life and so much more. These events are what drew me into the community and fostered a place for my faith to grow. I have been personally impacted by the generosity of so many people who have helped make these events possible. Every donation directly impacts the lives of STM students!

Each year, the Senior Class gets the chance to attend a pilgrimage with Father Williams. This year, a group of us will be traveling around Italy to various shrines. Father Williams has generously offered to apply 10% of the funds raised through each fundraiser toward the total cost of their pilgrimage.
