Creating Student Success with Reading and Science

Support my Midlands Gives campaign for United Way of the Midlands’ Midlands Reading Consortium (MRC) — a program dedicated to helping children build the reading skills they need to succeed in school and in life.

Through one-on-one volunteer tutoring, MRC connects caring adults with local students to strengthen literacy, boost confidence, and foster a love of reading. For many children, this extra support can make all the difference in staying on track academically.

MRC also supports STEM Girls initiatives, helping young girls explore science, technology, engineering, and math in fun, engaging ways that build confidence and expand future opportunities.
