Ask any of us on staff why we do this work, and you won't get the same answer twice. It's a perfect mixture of lived experiences, stories from friends, neighbors, and family members, or something we watched unfold in our own community that made it impossible to look away. The reasons are different, but the through-line is the same: this work found us where we already were.

We don't do justice from a distance. The issues MORE Justice works on aren't talking points to us. They're our friends, our families, our neighbors, our streets, our stories. We love this work because it's personal, and we keep showing up because the people closest to us are part of why it has to keep moving forward.
