STM has been a constant throughout my time here at Carolina 

Coming to college, everything was new. I found myself caught up in surface-level friendships, trying to navigate the expectations of being a college girl at an SEC school. Looking to others for validation, I felt emotionally unfulfilled and empty

In the midst of all this, I returned to what I knew was good. I had always been Catholic, but for the first time, I had to choose it for myself

For the past few semesters, I’ve helped lead a bible study for Pi Beta Phi. I am also very excited to be going on the senior pilgrimage to Italy this December!

I pray that the next freshman girl, seeking a sense of familiarity and purpose, finds her place at this parish
