Fighting for Hope Together

Being part of Cancer of Many Colors has given me the opportunity to see firsthand how much a community can impact someone facing one of the most difficult times in their life. One of my roles as a board member is to review applications from individuals facing cancer right here in South Carolina.

Every application tells a story - stories of strength, resilience, and hope, but also stories of unexpected hardship. Many of the patients we serve are not only fighting for their health, but also struggling to pay for basic necessities like rent, utilities, transportation to treatment, and groceries. Cancer does not just affect the body; it affects every part of a person’s life. As a nurse, I understand how critical support systems are to patient outcomes. As someone who reads these applications, I see firsthand how real and urgent these needs are.

I support Cancer of Many Colors because I believe no one should have to face cancer alone. Every donation helps us provide hope, relief, and reassurance to members of our community during their toughest moments.
