Workshop Theatre of SC

Our mission is to cultivate a vibrant space where the arts are celebrated, all voices are amplified, and the power of live theatre brings people together. At Workshop Theatre, we are dedicated to enriching our community by providing access to inclusive, diverse, and local theatrical experience and education. We seek to inspire, challenge, and connect people of all backgrounds, fostering creativity, and cultural understanding.

Workshop Theatre is excited to partner with Columbia College. Funding from Midlands Gives would go to helping with up-fitting our new performance space to benefit both the large patron base that supports community theatre, as well as providing a creative outlet for the actors in Columbia who provide the talent base for high quality community theatre productions. Workshop produces 5-7 shows a year, including a children's production in the summer. Workshop will offers a full slate of performances, as well as allow for expanded opportunities for shows including charity events, smaller black box shows, cabarets, and other opportunities for child actors from the acting school to perform.
