Village Square Theatre /LCAA is dedicated to enriching Lexington & surrounding communities through the magic of live theater. We strive to entertain, inspire, & unite audiences while providing a creative space for all ages. Our mission is to provide an inclusive and vibrant arts community where creativity thrives, skills grow and lifelong connections are made.

Our stage is a place where actors of all ages and experience levels can develop their skills, share their talents, and bring stories to life, offering audiences laughter, inspiration & a meaningful escape from everyday life.

Beyond the stage, we are passionate about education. Through a variety of classes and workshops, we help individuals grow not only as performers but also as confident, expressive & collaborative individuals. Our programs teach essential acting skills such as character development, improv, and vocal techniques while also fostering leadership, teamwork, time management, communication, and the ability to embrace constructive feedback.

We take special pride in our Summer Workshop program, where young actors ages 5-21 immerse themselves in an intensive summer experience, culminating in a full-scale junior production with 12 performances. This program, along with our year-round offerings, ensures that every participant-whether beginner or advanced-has the opportunity to learn, grow, and shine.
