The Agape Table

At the Agape Table, we are healing, educating, and activating to create a South Carolina where every LGBTQ+ person belongs.

We envision a South Carolina that prioritizes equity and belonging as the centerpiece of community. We believe our LGBTQ+ family is worthy of love and deserving of human dignity — no matter the setting, circumstance, or interaction. And we will work until every queer person in South Carolina is promised a seat at the table of grace, exactly as they are, every single time.

We pursue that vision through three connected pillars:

Healing — Dinner Dialogues, retreats, nature walks, Stories Telling Us, and counselor connections that make room for rest, reflection, and communal care.

Educating — Cohorts (Agape Cohort, Moral Majority, and Queer Faith), arts partnerships, the Roundtable, and continuing ed that move people from awareness to understanding through queer history, lived experience, and loving dialogue.

Activating — The Agape Network, deep canvassing opportunities, and facilitator trainings that equip community members to carry this work into their own neighborhoods, churches, and circles.
