River Alliance

Our mission is to help the regional community become more engaged with the Broad, Saluda and Congaree Rivers by making the rivers accessible to everyone.

Recently named one of the country's most promising ways to reconnect citizens to the natural world, The Three Rivers Greenway is a 15-mile trail system throughout the Midlands, located in Cayce, Columbia and West Columbia. Since the COVID quarantine, these riverside trails, bridges and boardwalks have enjoyed a massive jump in usage as well as a significant expansion of the diversity of folks enjoying them. A refuge for urban hikers, cyclists, dog walkers and nature lovers alike, The Greenway connects Midlands residents to treasured places, and in the process, one another.
