About this Organization
Richland County Public Education Partners has three focus areas for programs that directly align with our mission; empowering educators, enriching students experiences and engaging parents. Our primary programs are our "T.A for a Day" Volunteer program is a coordinated effort to recruit and retain volunteers to serve as teachers assistants in STEAM classes. The goal is to reach 5 schools, with 50 volunteers who complete 500 hours every school year to help support our teachers by improving their working conditions and the overall learning environment.
The "Literacy Leap" program is a summer bridge program for early learners. The goal is to help more learners in the community read at or above grade level through a series of community events and individualized instruction. Lastly, our "Parents as Leaders" program is a course with multiple classes focused on helping parents become better advocates for their children while making them more aware of community resources.
