PHICDI's mission is to rejuvenate our rural minority and tribal communities in South Carolina through developing programs creating food security, equitable healthcare, educational success, and create jobs,.

Pine Hill Health Network leads western Orangeburg County and South Carolina tribal communities towards equitable healthcare and provides COVID-19 health information, free face masks (as they are available), health education and lifestyle coaching programs designed to target and reverse determinants of poor health. These programs include Indigenous First Steps, Teen Talk, Stay In Your Lane Club (teen dating violence program), healthy relationships, tobacco cessation, sexual health, diabetes and hypertension prevention programs, ChairRobics exercise for disabled/immobile participants, nutrition education, and community health work. In partnership with its sister organization, HOPE Together, Pine Hill Health Network provides food as food resources become available.
