Testimonials

Letter from a 16 year old female in our care;

Being at Nancy K. Perry Shelter has made me feel like I can have a good future. They are very caring and supportive on what the best is for me. What I like best about being here is that the mentors and workers don't make it feel like I'm in a group home, they make it feel like I am at home. I can be myself. If I need to talk to someone they make me feel comfortable to talk to them about anything that bothers me. I like how they always make sure we eat good and have everything we need. I like that they do everything they can to help me be successful in the future and not go down the wrong path. I also like how they are very understanding and let us be teenagers and have a little more freedom. I like being here because this place is chill and laid-back. I am glad I am at NKP because it's the best group home I've been to. I'm really thankful for them.
