The Newberry Community Players

To bring live theater to the community of Newberry, South Carolina, give interested persons the opportunity to participate in all aspects of live theater and to offer learning and cultural experiences to all members of the community.

The Newberry Community Players is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to providing the opportunity to attend and participate in live theater. We manage the historic Ritz Theater in Newberry, South Carolina providing for its maintenance and historical preservation and restoration as funds allow. We offer low ticket pricing to make live theater affordable for all. Additionally, we offer Teen and Children's theater camps and performances to teach the next generation the importance and inclusivity of theater.
