Seeking to put God's love into action, Central South Carolina Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope.

At Central South Carolina Habitat for Humanity, homes are not given away. Homeowners partner with Habitat by completing sweat equity hours, participating in financial education, and purchasing their homes through an affordable mortgage. These investments help future homeowners build credit, gain financial stability, and contribute to the local economy. A stable home is foundational to economic mobility. It supports consistent employment, educational outcomes, health, and long-term wealth-building. These homes were made possible through collaboration among future homeowners, volunteers, donors, businesses, local government, and nonprofit partners working together toward a common goal: safe, affordable housing as a foundation for opportunity. 

To date, the organization has built 291 homes, supported 111 families in fully paying off their Habitat mortgages, and engages thousands of volunteers annually.
