Majestic Wings Rescue

Provide care for companion birds that need to be re-homed due to illness, financial constraints, aging parents, death of owners, seizures from hoarding situations and owner surrenders. We're non condescending, we understand life happens, things happen, life changes, we are here to provide that relief to you and your bird(s). Most exotics we get in are usually not fit for adoption into family settings immediately and require rehabilitation. This is due to poor socializing, abuse and/or neglect

Our program has allowed companion birds that have been surrendered or abused new lease on life! These kids under our care go through a slow, but steady transformation. They regain their ability to trust, to love, to allow the touch from those that care for them, to regain their spirit and passion for life. It is a wonderful experience when they decide they will step up, when they no longer lounge at you, when they decide they want to give you a kiss. But, more than that to see their regrowth of feathers to their beautiful condition (most of the time regrowth does not happen, the damage is permanent. To see the light come back in their eyes, and see them enjoy life again, it is truly AMAZING! Our biggest wish is that we could let them all return to their natural wild environment, sadly we know that is not an option. We are planning at some point to create an outdoor flight aviary that is large enough for them to fly in.
