Life Empowerment Community

The mission of Life Empowerment Community Outreach is to serve as a coordinator and/or provider of services for the senior population empowering them with the ability to improve their lives by accessing services that alleviate the stresses associated with poverty by combatting hunger and homelessness and addressing basic life needs. We serve as a resource for vulnerable populations residing in Lee and surrounding counties.

Life Empowerment Community Outreach is a nonprofit organization with 501 (c) 3 tax-exempt status located in Bishopville, South Carolina. It is our desire to serve as a resource for vulnerable populations of our community. We have established valued partnerships with Harvest Hope and SC Thrive. Through our partnership with Harvest Hope, we provide our senior population with Commodity Supplemental Food Program boxes of nutritious food to supplement their diets monthly. Our partnership with SC Thrive allows us to offer access to social services programs within the community at a time convenient to residents. Through these collaborative partnerships we can serve as a Hub for a continuum of services needed by members of our community.
