Friends of the Lexington County Museum

The mission of the Friends of the Lexington County Museum is to enhance the Lexington County Museum through its duly appointed commission and to support, aid, and assist in the improvement and expansion of the Museum. The mission of the Lexington County Museum is to preserve and interpret the history of Lexington County and the Dutch Fork.

Contributions from Midlands Gives will allow the Friends of the Lexington County Museum to repair and restore the thirty history structures on the grounds of the museum. It will also allow us to continue to offer hands-on programs for children's groups. These programs are offered free of charge thanks to donations and grants. The funds raised will allow the Friends to preserve the rich history of the area as well as educate children from around the state.
