We strive to inspire self-reliance through dedicated support, enriching educational programs, and active community involvement while celebrating the diverse traditions that define us.

LCD aims to create equitable communities where everyone thrives. We do this through education, health equity initiatives, and community services. We provide free medical interpretation services with SC Palmetto Pediatric Alliance locations around the Midlands in a variety of languages. We provide parents with direct resources for children who have disabilities. We distribute free, nutritious, fresh produce and goods on a monthly basis to combat food insecurity and encourage healthy lifestyles. Our financial literacy program teaches adults the skills they need to achieve long-term financial stability and for themselves and their children. Additionally, we celebrate Hispanic Heritage and cultural diversity through our community events such as Three Kings Day Festival and Carnaval del Barrio, fostering unity and inclusion. By addressing healthcare, financial empowerment, and cultural connection, we work to build stronger, healthier, and more resilient communities where everyone can thrive.
