In The Middle

In The Middle provides financial assistance to survivors being treated for breast cancer who are employed and/or have insurance, so they do not qualify for any programs, but don't make enough to pay for the expenses that come with fighting breast cancer. We provide gas cards, chemo baskets, and monetary awards to survivors who are currently receiving treatment for breast cancer in the Midlands area.

We provide financial assistance to survivors in the Midlands area being treated for breast cancer. We have several programs such as the Nichel Holland Swindler Scholarship program, which provides scholarships to the children of breast cancer survivors and Dreams 4 Metas, which fulfills the dreams of women diagnosed with Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer. In addition to our annual event Blues, Boobs, and BBQ, a 5K walk/run and BBQ festival, we have Try-Athletes for TaTas, a fundraising campaign that challenges participants to complete an exercise goal such as running a marathon or exercising 5 days a week for one month, or donate $10 to one of our athletes. Lastly, we have our Breast Buddy Program, which is an outreach program that pairs newly diagnosed women with survivors similarly situated to provide one-on-one support.
