Girls Rock Columbia

Girls Rock Columbia is a music and mentoring program that empowers girls, trans, and nonbinary youth through music education and activities that foster self-respect, leadership skills, creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration.

A day at camp includes a morning assembly to get powered up for the day, followed by Instrument Instruction and a workshop. After lunch campers attend band practice and another workshop, followed by an afternoon assembly that usually wraps up with a dance party. Workshops campers may attend include things like, Songwriting, Self-Defense, Knitting, Dungeouns & Dragons, Sign-Language, Self-care, and Screenprinting.
