For the Love of a Paw

The mission of For the Love of a Paw is effective management of the domestic animal population in Orangeburg & Calhoun Counties through sterilization, education, rescue, and owner services.

Sterilzation.....In 2024, our organization spayed/neutered 1133 cats and kittens and 67 dogs in Orangeburg and Calhoun Counties.
Education.....Our organization provides county meetings, Facebook postings and weekly work with the animal shelters of Orangeburg and Calhoun Counties.
Rescue.....Our organization works closely with the the animal shelter of Orangeburg County, along with Facebook postings, to solicit and find rescues for cats and dogs.
Owner Services.....In 2024, our organization assisted 43 Orangeburg and Calhoun County residents to maintain ownership of their pets (medical, vaccinations and food assistance).
