Our Midlands Gives Goal

We are raising funds to build a NEW 4,800 square foot animal rescue facility on our current property at 919 N Lucas St in West Columbia. The new structure being built by Plow Mule will more than double kennel space for each dog, from 50 to 100 square feet, and include indoor-outdoor runs, proper drainage, a dedicated cat room, and thoughtful design features to reduce stress and noise for the animals in our care.

The estimated building project cost is $400,000, with a goal of raising $100,000 through Midlands Gives to help move this vision forward as soon as city permit approvals are complete. This expansion will allow us to provide a higher level of care, serve more animals in need, and make a greater impact in our community.

If funding allows, we also plan to renovate our existing building into a veterinary and quarantine space, with the potential to create dedicated areas for moms and puppies, further increasing our capacity to save lives.

About Us
Final Victory Animal Rescue (FVAR) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming abused, neglected, abandoned, and at-risk cats and dogs. Our mission is to match every animal in our care with a safe, loving, forever home - their final victory.

As a 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2017 in Columbia, South Carolina, our mission extends beyond rescue: we are working to build up our community and end unnecessary euthanasia in shelters due to overcrowding.

We pride ourselves on the happiness of our dogs through the use of large play yards, social outings, and a strong foster and volunteer network. Since our founding, we have successfully moved over 5,000 dogs into safe, loving homes.

In addition to adoptions, we proudly operate a free pet food pantry to assist local pet owners in need and a mobile spay and neuter van to combat the overpopulation crisis in South Carolina.

Through community resources, outreach, education, and compassionate support, we are changing lives in the Midlands and beyond.
