Blood is not the only family. Holistic Approach: Mental health matters. We facilitate goal setting, and disguise activities, therapy, outdoor recreation as fun. Respect: We acknowledge the sacrifices of veteran families. Connection: We guide and provide referrals to veteran family resources.

At Fidelis, the veteran & support system are both the priority not an afterthought. We serve our veterans, their families & extended support systems. We aim to decrease the national veteran suicide rate by strengthening & educating veterans' families & support systems; improving their mental, physical, & emotional health; facilitating forward movement; & ultimately fostering reintegration of veterans into their communities.Fidelis utilizes a holistic approach to create long-term positive outcomes for veterans & their communities. We empower those we serve through education & connection to resources, in order to support the transition from active duty to veteran life. We begin with a peaceful setting for relaxation, community events & activities, as well as land & water based recreational therapies.This approach not only allows veterans & their support systems to have fun again, it reduces stress, anxiety, & depression. The Retreat creates an environment which allows for veterans' barriers to come down, helping them to reconnect with their family & friends, taking important steps towards mending relationships & strengthening bonds by creating opportunities for healthy interactions.
